Scheduled appt. for 4:45pm was asked if I could make it by 4:30pm I said NO, 4:45pm was the earliest I could get there. They said OK, they're open until 5:30pm. I raced home from work, loaded my dog, got there at 4:42pm to be told the last appt. is 4:30pm and the doctor leaves at 5:00pm although the doctor was already gone for the day!!! Very disappointed, will not go back, total waste of my time and prolonging help for my sick elderly dog. I also told them I would pay their $100 home visit fee to come to my house (15 minutes away) but they will not see sick animals during a home call only give shots and of course they cannot give shots to sick dogs, they must be brought in, apparently BEFORE 4:30pm if you want to see a vet! Don't waste your time and energy like I did, again, VERY DISAPPOINTING, I do not plan to go back, there are other vets that provide better service and they're all about the same cost anyway so pick one that works best for you.
Very friendly staff and super clean facility. So happy we have a vet clinic this nice so close to our house.
We will no longer be taking our pets to this vet. We called right as they opened at 8am on a Monday morning because we were sure that our 3 month old puppy had been bitten by a snake. The receptionist said their only opening was at 1pm and didn't even bother trying to squeeze us in any earlier. I understand that this isn't an emergency vet but the fact that they didn't even make an attempt to help us is absurd. We ended up calling another local vet and they told us to come right away that they would work us in between their appointments. Turned out he had broke his jaw and needed immediate surgery. Choctaw vet seems unorganized and had a shortage of help. They'll make you hold your own dog while they stick the thermometer up to get a temp. They should have more trained vet techs to do this. I recommend finding some place better.
Best vet around! Couldn't ask for for a more loving and caring Dr and staff! The lady at the front desk is super nice and accommodating. I have been there several times and haven't heard be rude to others.
